The love for the old-fashioned flavours, that remind us so much of our grandparents' dishes, convinced us to create our own small "organic vegetable garden", as it used to be: with dedication, without the use of harmful substances, but with only the use of natural horse fertiliser, from the stables nearby.

The vegetables, cultivated only seasonally, are characterised by their genuine flavour. Maybe they could have some imperfectoins, though it's precisely this that ensure the total absence of OGM and antibiotics or fungicides. From spring until November, depending on temperatures, various types of salad, tomatoes, courgettes, aubergines, onions, garlic, chard and peppers are produced.

Since we are also two discerning campers, and in every facility we visited there was something we were not 100 per cent satisfied with, we have decided to open, next to the organic garden, a campsite offering services with attention to detail, relaxation and the opportunity to park your vehicle in a strategic location from which to visit the wonders that Tuscia has to offer. From this desire arose the Agricampeggio La Biososta, Viterbo's only five-star campsite.
